Everyone tells me that traffic and congestion is their #1 issue.

 

​That’s why I’ve ensured Council has invested record funds on transport over the last four financial years. In fact, since 2019, we have spent more than $1 billion on transport initiatives and works. 

 

Add to this our support for:

• a ferry service, city cycle ways;

• free bus travel for seniors and veterans;

• light rail commitments; and

• new green bridges including the $65 million Isle of Capri bridge and intersection upgrade.

 

Let’s keep the momentum going on infrastructure investment.

 

Don’t risk putting our $2 billion budget in the hands of someone with no experience in delivering any roads infrastructure.

 

We must keep the Gold Coast moving and protect our incredible lifestyle.
